Healing Body

Yoga

Yoga is an excellent way to bring your body back into health. It allows for breath and body connection, strong core and flexibility. Its low impact movement opens it up for anyone at any age.

Acupuncture and Healing

With Acupuncture treatments, you bring the body’s energies back into balance. Dis-ease is caused by blocks, deficiencies, and/or excess Qi, Yin, Blood and Yang which can be redirected, supported and released through Acupuncture.  If you have a condition that seems stubborn to resolve by Western Medicine , maybe its time to think outside the box, with alternative Medicines like Acupuncture.

Baths and Pampering Yourself

Epson Salts, or herbal teas poured into a relaxing bath is a must, if possible on a weekly basis. Your skin is one of your largest organs, it releases toxins through sweat and it can absorb mineral / nutrients while soaking.  Never discount the health benefits of a hot bath with herbs and salts.

Natural Healing

Did you know that most medicines are chemicals compounds derived from nature. Aspirin chemical make up for example is from White Willow Bark, introduced to us by Native Americans back in the day.  Even our highly valued vitamins like Curcumin comes from Turmeric a root.  Chemical composition in herbs are balanced mitigating side-effects that would occur if only one chemical from it is used.

Massage

This is not a luxury, its a must. Not only will massages decrease stress levels, it will drain lymph nodes, and relax tense muscles. A healthy body includes a relaxed body. Take the time to get a message once or twice a month, your body will show you its appreciation through longevity.

Food

Food, if you can make it your self the better, if needs must pick the most healthiest.  Our ancestors were “hunters and gatherers”, so even here meat will not be excluded, just portion control. Meat, back 40,000+++ years was not available on a day to day basis like it is today. Hence all the health problems with eating meat and a profound lack of exercise. Life was nomadic back then, exercise with hunting and migrating with the herds was necessary. Being a couch potato really should not be at thing, we are not built that way. So take the time to eat a healthy and balanced meal  with fish, chicken and organic red meats added in 2-3 times a week.

Martial Arts

The wisdom from the East not only brought to us Acupuncture but also Martial Arts, discipline of the body. To move our body with precise form allows to connect with the very elements around us. It gives you mastery over the body, brings you into alignment, allows for focused explosion of chi, and increased flexibility.  Consider taking up some form of martial arts, of which there are many to choose from; some include:

  • Kung Fu – China                                         • Judo – Japan.
  • Muay Thai – Thailand.                                 •Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu – Brazil.
  • Krav Maga – Israel.                                     • Aikido – Japan
  • Tai Chi – China                                            • Karate – Japan
  • Taekwondo – Korean                                   • Chi Gong – China
